Arriving at Nakhon Si Thammarat (NST) airport is very easy. There are no international flights arriving at NST, so there's no customs. Once you have arrived in the green forest land, you walk down the stairs of the aircraft, go to the terminal, pick up your bags and follow the rest of the people. Very simple, very easy, a very normal proces, but in a smaller setting.
Just be aware, once you’re outside, it is not possible to go back inside via the same door. Security will stop you. Nobody knows why, but they know what you should do. Just keep on smiling! If you're okay, you can take a cab to the hotel. If you just decided to rent a car, which is not a problem, I'm sorry man, you have to go inside again via another entrance. It’s 100 meters to the left. You’ll survive… 😉
